From March 7, 2014 to January 4, 2015, in the Alpilles, the monumental Careers Lights harbor unique multimedia entertainment in the world.
The new show "Klimt and Vienna," a century of gold and colors "projected on the huge walls, pillars and the quarry floor, this bright and colorful works of Gustav Klimt, his contemporaries and those who have been inspired.
This new show goes through 100 years of Viennese painting immersing yourself in the heart of the colorful and bright works by Gustav Klimt and Schiele and Viennese artists like Hundertwasser who were influenced by his work. At the dawn of the new century, Klimt is required at the head of the Vienna Secession, a current which aims to regenerate the art in depth. Gold and decorative so specific of these works will remain a symbol of this artistic revolution. The show short "Invisible Cities" offers from the exploration of utopian cities, urban, underwater or overgrown.
Visit the Careers dug over the years to extract the limestone used to build the castle and the town of Les Baux, you reveal the mineral beauty of this unique and unusual place.
Exteriors from the film "Testament of Orpheus" by Jean Cocteau was turned inside the careers in 1959 are projected in a dedicated space.
