In the village, you will see the parish church of St. Vincent of Roman style, the private castle of the XIIIth century, rebuilt in the late XVIth century after the episode "Vaudois". The Chapel of St. Eusebius, Old laundries , tank - washing , fountains, bories and éguiers.

In the XIth century / XIIth century, the construction of the Casle is ordered by the family of Adhemar (first hereditary Orange Earls). The family becomes the Baux- Adhemar after an alliance with the Lords of Baux.
In the XIVth century, Laure Chiabeau ( born 4th June 1314 ), daughter of Henri de Chiabeau successor to Baux-Adhemar, is considered by some historians like the Petrarch's Laura.
In 1490, the Lord Giraud Ancézune, brought several families "Vaudoises " of Piedmont to exploit its land.
During the persecution of 1545, the village served as a refuge. The Lords fighting the Vaudois laid siege to Cabrières during several days and after negotiations and promise to live, 400-500 Vaudois were massacred. The survivors were sold as slaves in L'Isle -sur -la- Sorgue or sent to the galleys. Finally, the village was razed .
In 1695, 6 wells were drilled on orders Consuls of the municipality to solve recurrent water problems.
