The mill of Jerusalem in Goult is a windmill that still has its wings and its interior mechanism following a restoration by the municipality of the mill "identical" between 1994 and 1997.
This windmill is located at the top of the hill that bears the hilltop village of Goult, facing the Luberon. It is in the southwest and in direct proximity of Castellet, ancient fortified town, heart of the old village of Goult. The village developed southeast of Castellet, leaving the vicinity of the mill relatively free of parasites buildings other than those used for agriculture (terraced garden, threshing floors, etc.).
Dating from the late seventeenth century, the Jerusalem mill of Goult was mentioned in 1750 and operated up until 1919. The name "Jerusalem" comes from the neighborhood, whose name seems to come from the Crusades departure of some members of Agoults family.
